Diagnostic Imaging, Inc. provides a full range of diagnostic and interventional imaging services. We are able to meet the demands of a busy and diversified hospital radiology environment.

The Diagnostic Imaging, Inc. practice is comprised of a large number of radiologists with a broad range of comprehensive skills. We employ general radiologists whose areas of concentration include plain film radiography and fluoroscopy. Our subspecialists are fellowship trained and provide both general and advanced specialty interpretations.

• Subspecialties include MRI, Ultrasound, CT Scan, Nuclear Medicine, PET Scan, Neuroradiology, and Musculoskeletal Radiology.
• Our interventional radiologists provide advanced oncologic and urologic services, such as therasphere®, chemo-embolizations, radiofrequency ablations, and stone extractions.
• We were successful in establishing one of the first Coronary CT Angiography Services in the Northeast Philadelphia region, and several of our radiologists have completed additional training in Coronary CTA imaging. We also provide CT Virtual Colonography services at some of our locations.
• Diagnostic Imaging, Inc. provides a broad range of women’s imaging services including interventional breast and pelvic procedures as well as digital mammography and breast MRI.

Maintaining and growing an imaging modality requires leadership. DII maintains a section leader for each imaging modality. Section leaders have been instrumental in advancing our practice through modality-focused education and by keeping abreast of emerging technologies.

In a world that has become virtual, where teleradiology and outsourcing have become commonplace, we have maintained an on-site presence at our hospitals. We feel that our continued interaction and communication with referring physicians, administrators, and technologists is our single biggest asset and contributor to our success.

The radiologists of DII are accustomed to working in a variety of environments, ranging from completely film-based to filmless and various stages in between. They are also familiar with computers, scanners, cameras, and dictation equipment from a variety of vendors, including voice recognition as well as a variety of PACS equipment.

DII employs billing, coding and reimbursement specialists. This team of 30-plus individuals is dedicated to radiology billing and has proven to be a valuable resource to our hospital affiliates.

DII also employs I.T. specialists who work closely with the hospital I.T. departments to insure seamless transmission of data from the hospitals to our billing office. They have been successful in creating the necessary interfaces that allow for web transmission of images and data between facilities.

DII operates under a comprehensive compliance plan. Internal audits and participation in hospital performance improvement and quality assurance activities are integral to our corporate mission.
